The Brief
02
The Challenge
- One of the key complexities of this project was executing a high - quality booth in Berlin while operating from India, working with European contractors, and local production teams
- Coordinating across different time zones and communication styles
- Aligning design intent with European fabrication standards
- Managing cost expectations between Indian planning and European execution realities
- Ensuring material availability and compliance with local exhibition regulations
- Maintaining design integrity through multiple layers of execution teams
- This required tight control over documentation, clarity in detailing, and continuous coordination with on-ground vendors.
03
Design Strategy
- Strong architectural identity for visibility in a crowded hall
- Open, accessible layout to maximize walk-ins
- Clearly defined zones for display, interaction, and meetings
- High-impact visual storytelling through materials and lighting
- Modular planning to simplify overseas fabrication and assembly
04
The Outcome
- High visitor engagement and footfall
- Positive client and audience feedback
- Effective differentiation in a competitive European exhibition environment
- Successful coordination between Indian and European teams
05
Execution Approach
Given the cross-border nature of the project, execution was structured with a highly detailed pre-production process.
Detailed technical drawings and execution files shared with European contractors
Pre-alignment calls and design walkthroughs to eliminate ambiguity
Material specification standardization suitable for local sourcing
Remote Supervision Continuous supervision during fabrication
On-Site Coordination Installation support during execution in Berlin
This structured approach ensured that design intent was preserved despite geographical and vendor complexity.
06
Final Positioning Line
This project demonstrated the ability to successfully translate a design vision developed in India into a fully executed exhibition experience in Europe, navigating cross-border coordination, production constraints, and local execution challenges without compromising design intent.
